Approximately 1.500 pieces of the artist Francisco Brennand are in permanent exhibition amid a reservation of Atlantic forest. The pieces show the diversity of the ceramist's expression. In another place closeby, two castles in medieval style contain the world´s largest collection of works of the Dutch painter Frans Post (séc 17), as also old books of the colonial time, arms, tapestry, ornamental arts, sculptures and furniture.
